Julia Monard
Julia is a poet and photographer whose work explores transformation and hidden parts of the psyche through image, symbol, and scent. She draws from psychology, mythology, and the natural world – guided by a lifelong pull to notice patterns and frame stories.
With a background in visual storytelling and a self-taught path through the worlds of language and alchemy, The Becoming is her first published work.
Creating from the West of Ireland, the shifting weather and elemental landscape keep her close to instinct and imagination. With Slovak roots and time spent living in the south of France, her creative work is a union of light and dark.
